Red Lacquer's showroom opened in South West London in October 2007 by Joana de Noronha, who has lived in London for six years, after spending time working in New York and Rio de Janeiro for companies as diverse as Chanel, the Copacabana Palace hotel and Diane von Furstenberg.
The company focuses on three key areas:
? The UK distribution of several exclusive luxury homeware and accessories manufacturers, primarily from Portugal and Italy. The range spotlights ceramics, fabrics, hand-blown glass and silver pieces.
? A unique relationship with manufacturers and artisans in Portugal and Italy, and the ability to work directly with them to create a wide variety of bespoke items for clients, ranging from furniture to accessories.
