MAISON FEY

Michel Fey, master gilder, upholsterer and expert in cordoba leather, comes from a long line of craftsmen. A member of the guild of French Craftsmen he installed his workshop under the "Viaduc des Arts" on the Avenue Daumesnil in Paris in 1995.
His work includes furniture upholstery and decoration using smooth or honeycombed leather (selvedged leather, cordova leather), gilding and stuffing office furniture, and clever accessories (fake books, storage boxes...). The materials used are varied: cow hide, goat, fish skin (shagreen), beaver, ostrich'

Michel Fey is associated with numerous international projects working with renowned decorators and restorers of historical monuments. The workshop of La Maison Fey is part of Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Enterprise).
