The word "Coquecigrues" was born under the pen of the writter Rabelais around 1534; this "Poetry" evokes all the dreams inside us.
In 1792, those "Coquecigrues", mythical creatures, half insect, half bird, reappear in one of the famous Toile de Jouy motivs.
